Kemesah it is then...
The plan sounded real good. We were supposed to visit Sofea Jane. Interesting...I have heard about this trail but never been to this part. It was originally called Kubang Gajah Waterfall. It is now made famous by the actress in the movie Perempuan, Isteri dan Jalang where there was a scene in the movie where Sofea Jane took a dip at the waterfall. Since then, the waterfall has been named after her. Seems its not far from the usual trail head. 15 riders. Off we went. Trail was up and up and up. Almost 3 clicks of tarmac pointing up. Then we entered the trail head. Another 3 clicks upwards. This time in singlr tracks... Lovely. at the peak. It was 2clicks down towards the famous Water Fall. Nice...
I was lost for words when i set my eyes upon the waterfall. This is sweet. Who would have guess the existence of such a waterfall just a drive away , right smack in KL itself. You definetly have to be there to believe it. Pity there is no flat spot or a pond to swim in. We could do a camp ride if the flat spot was available. For now, you will have to walk down about 50meters of jungle trail to actually touch any bit of water.
This tree with fruits grows in abundance. No idea what it is. Looks really juicy and tasty though. I was staring at it for quite a bit. This was one sight i remember most about this trail, aside from the waterfall. You cant miss this if you ever happen to come by. Anyone has any idea what this is?
20 minutes of talking spent, off we went. This time around it was 2 clicks uphill march. I had to keep the old cocks for company. The Manta was still drippy from this nose. Reward came at the end of the 2 clicks walk. Now its downhill all the way to the tarmac again. Everyone rode off like a monkey with its ass on fire. Clean nice single tracks all the way for 3 clicks. Sweet... Upon reaching the tarmac, we took a right turn up another hill for a detour to another waterfall. Same same again. Up hill for almost 2 clicks. This uphill i didnt mind one bit. It was right smack through a bamboo forest. A lot like the old BATU DAM trail which is lost now. These bamboos are huge. Size of my legs . Up came the so called waterfall after 2 clicks. Well... Hobbits would call that a watefall. Really. It was like 3 feet high. We were lost for words again. But hey..It is still nice. This is more accesible i guess, judging from the presence of plastics bag left behind. Sigh..
That was more or less the ride for the Sunday. Of course, we went for the Chicken Rice reload before heading home to wash the toilet. You cant do a good job washing the toilet on a empty stomach right? Its only fair to eat some before you lose some...
